Explore the latest Khewra Salt Mine ticket rates for 2026 For local visitors, the standard entry ticket for adults above 12 years, excluding the train ride, is priced at Rs. 475. Students can avail of a discounted ticket at Rs. 265, provided they present a valid school or college ID. Children between 2 and 12 years of age can also enter with a special ticket priced at Rs. 265. Similarly, senior citizens aged 60 years and above are eligible for a discounted entry ticket, also priced at Rs. 285.
For foreign visitors, the entry ticket for adults is priced at $24, payable in Pakistani Rupees. Foreign students and children can avail of a discounted ticket for $12, also payable in Pakistani Rupees.
An optional train ride inside the mine is available for visitors at an additional charge of Rs. 285 per person.
A secure parking facility is available for visitors with different vehicle types at nominal charges. Motorcycles and scooters can be parked for Rs. 30, while cars, rickshaws, and jeeps are charged Rs. 70. Hilux vehicles and wagons have dedicated parking slots available for Rs. 100. For group visits, coasters can be parked for Rs. 120, and buses have access to a large parking area at a charge of Rs. 140.
On-the-Spot Tickets Only: Tickets are available only at the venue counter. We do not offer online or advance ticket bookings.
Valid Identification Required: Every visitor must present a valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) at the time of ticket purchase.
Foreign Visitors: All international guests are required to present a valid passport to buy tickets.
Each purchased ticket allows entry for a maximum duration of two (2) hours or 120 minutes from the time of entry.
Visitors must exit the premises once the allowed time limit has expired.
Re-entry after leaving the site is not permitted on the same ticket.
No Refunds: Tickets once purchased are non-refundable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances, including unused time or early exit.
Lost, damaged, or stolen tickets will not be replaced.
Children under 2 years of age are not eligible for ticket purchase and will not be permitted entry for safety reasons.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Student Discount: Students are entitled to a 50% discount on ticket prices upon showing a valid, original student ID card at the ticket counter.
Photocopies or expired cards will not be accepted.
All visitors must follow the instructions of the mine guards and staff at all times for their safety and the safety of others.
Any visitor found violating safety rules, engaging in misconduct, or ignoring staff directions may be asked to leave the premises without refund.
The management reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who does not comply with these policies.
Tickets are non-transferable and valid for the date and time of purchase only.
